Based on her success at last season’s ASA National Age Group Championships, Lucy Armitage has been invited to attend an England Talent Programmes Development Day in November. These development days form the first stage of the swimmer pathway for swimmers in England and many swimmers have gone through the stages on the England Talent Programme and onto International success. This is a huge and well deserved selection and a reflection of her hard work. Well done!!
Huge congratulations to Kate Grindley after she has been named the West Midlands Regional Aquaforce Awards winner for ‘Young Volunteer of the Year’!!!! This is a thoroughly deserved award after her years of coaching and hard volunteer work on poolside with the junior swimmers and junior league team. She received her award on the 20th September and will now go onto receive nomination for the National Young Volunteer of the Year Award, the winner of which will be announced in October.
